The main reason for the wrinkling of metal stamping parts is that the difference between the size in the thickness direction and the size in the plane direction is large, resulting in the instability of the thickness direction. When the stress in the plane direction reaches a certain degree, the thickness direction becomes unstable, resulting in wrinkling.
1. The material pile is wrinkled. Wrinkles caused by excessive material entering the cavity of the die;
2. Unstable wrinkling;
2-1. The compression flange with weak binding force in the thickness direction of sheet metal is unstable;
2-2. Wrinkles caused by instability of uneven stretching parts.
Solution:
1. Product design:
A. Check the rationality of the original product model design;
B. Avoid saddle shape of products;
C.Add suction bar at the wrinkle prone part of the product;
2. Stamping process:
A. Reasonably arrange the process;
B. Check the rationality of pressing surface and drawing supplementary surface;
C. Check the rationality of drawing blank, pressing force and local material flow;
D. Wrinkle shall be relieved by internal reinforcement;
E. Improve the pressing force, adjust the drawing rib and stamping direction, increase the forming process and sheet thickness, and change the product and process modeling to absorb excess materials;
3. Material: In the case of meeting the product performance, materials with good formability shall be used for some parts that are easy to wrinkle.
